The Scott AFB Testing Office provides testing services to support recruitment, readiness, retention, and transition.
APPENDIX A: CANDIDATE INFORMATION WORKSHEET (revised 9/23/2014) AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 8013, Secretary of the Air Force; powers, duties, and delegation, as implemented by AFI 36-2605, Air Force Military Personnel Testing System, Executive Order 9397 (SSN) and Executive Order 13478 (PII).PURPOSE: Used to process and track Test of Basic Aviation Skills (TBAS) results. The Test of Basic Aviation Skills (TBAS) is a computerized psychomotor test battery. It is used as a tool for the selection of United States Air Force pilot candidates. TBAS scores are combined with the candidate’s Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), and flying hours to produce a Pilot Candidate Selection Method (PCSM) score.
The Testing Office offers the following military exams:
- Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT)
- Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT)
- Enlisted Pilot Qualification Testing (EPQT)
- Test of Basic Aviation Skills (TBAS)
- Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System (TAPAS)
- Electronic Data Processing Test (EDPT)
- Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS) Test

Our Detachment is a certified testing facility for both AFOQT and TBAS testing.

TBAS can be scheduled by calling our phone number under our Contact Info. This test requires a valid form of identification and your SSN CARD for number verification. A photo of your SSN works as well.
